Welcome everyone to our new ACC Bulletin! I hope you will find our new 4 parish bulletin informative, easy to read and enjoyable as well. Over the past few months members of our ACC Transition Team and our Staffs at St. Peter, St. Joseph, St. Michael and St. Paul have been working on a template for our new bulletin look. A combined bulletin is just another way to connect, to pass on important information, to share resources, and to truly be “Together as One.”

This new format will take some getting used to as some things are familiar and some things are not. Yes, it is 8 pages long, which seems a bit much. In the future, we hope to be able to cut the number of pages down, yet at this point, in order to get all the information we want in, we are allowing it to be lengthy for now. Our new ACC Logo will be added later, once our congregations vote and decide which logo they like best.

With regard to any information you would like to put in our new bulletin you may still contact either Terry Jancik at our Main Office (for St. Peter or St. Paul) or contact Diane Kremer at her office (for St. Michael or St. Joseph.) All information will eventually reach Diane since she will be the main person who pulls all the information together and sets up the template to send in to LPI. Please have all announcements in by Monday 9:00 am. for the coming weekend. You may either call or email Diane in St. Michael at: (320) 251-6923 or email her at: churchofstmichael@churchofstmichael.net. Or, you may call or email Terry in St. Paul at: (320)-251-4831 or email him at: mainoffice@stpetestpaul.net .

As for the Pastor’s Desk/Note from the Pastor, Fr. Timothy Gapinski and myself (Fr. LeRoy Scheierl) have decided to take turns writing these articles based on liturgical events, church-related topics, spirituality, or other important items going on within our parish or diocese. It will be on a variety of topics of our choice.

In Matthew’s Gospel (Ch.9,16f) and (Ch 13,52f) Jesus says, “No one sews a new piece of new clothe on an old one…, nor do they pour new wine into old skins.” Jesus also says that, “Every good steward, learned in the reign of God, is like the head of a household who can bring from his storeroom the new and old.” In other words, as a People of God we are called to respect and honor the old, time-tested traditions we have and yet be open to new experiences and new ideas so as to grow in our faith and relationship with God. My hope (and Fr. Timothy’s too) is that our new ACC bulletin will do just that. Peace and God bless you all!
