Editors note: Fr. LeRoy stepping aside this week to allow our liturgists (Laurie, Paula, and Joyce) to bring to your attention the Ministry Fair that is taking place this weekend.

AMEN, ALLELUIA! What a joy and privilege we share every time we celebrate the mass! The Constitution on the Liturgy says that every liturgical celebration is “a sacred action surpassing all others. No other action of the church can equal its efficacy” (SC 7 § 2-3). The liturgy is our participation in the Paschal Mystery of Jesus in his obedience and self-offering to God on our behalf. The Liturgy is the “work of the Church.” We enter this profound mystery of our faith at every Eucharist. United as one family in faith, we come, we listen, we respond in word and song and are nourished at the table of God’s word and Eucharist. We become the body of Christ, blessed, broken and shared for the life of the world! AMEN! ALLELUIA!

We invite you to sign up to serve in a church ministry. With simple training and support, you will become a deeper part of the parish community and enrich your faith. Your gifts, in turn, build the life of the Church, the Living Body Christ! ofhrist!

Please consider offering your time to join a liturgical ministry team at the Churches of St. Peter or St. Paul. (choose from ministries listed below)
