Anyone up for a Holy Land Pilgrimage? As promised way back in May (but a little late) inside each bulletin you should see an insert promoting an upcoming Pilgrimage to the Holy Land which I will host. As your Spiritual Director, I will be going with you on a journey entitled: “Walk Where Jesus Walked,” which will take place early next year in February, 15-25th of 2016, the first week of Lent. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for those who would like to visit the holy sites, pray, and experience the places where our gospel stories took place. People often say, “The Bible comes alive when you visit the Holy Land!” and my first-hand experience proves this is so! If you and/or someone you know may be interested, there are more detailed and full brochures along with registration forms in the gathering spaces and the back entrances of each church. (You can also stop in at the Welcome Center in St. Peter or go to our Main Office at St. Paul to pick up a copy as well.) Please check it out! It lists our 11 day itinerary with all the holy places we will learn about and enjoy. Pray about it, plan financially for it, and hopefully you can join us all. We will need at least 25 people from our surrounding community for this to work. We will be traveling with Jerico Christian Journeys, a company with lots of experience in this, so we will be in good hands along the road. God bless and may your pathways be peaceful and straight where ever you go!
