Steubenville 2018 Testimonials
“I was so nervous for this trip because I only knew two people. When I was on my way to St. Cloud, I was almost having second thoughts. However, I got to meet so many amazing peers and leaders who have had such great experiences with their faith and with God. I knew that God was with me this weekend and that He has an amazing plan for my life. I got to grow deeper in my faith and relationship with God.”
– Andrew, 16
“I was struggling a lot with my relationships with friends and God. I didn’t know how to ask God for help. My friends were peer pressuring me into things I knew were wrong but I kept doing them. This weekend I asked God for help and how to be the person I wanted and needed to be, and I felt peace. I knew God was there to help me and lead me to the friendships I need to have.”
– Grace, 16
“ ‘And then He stretched out His arms and said, ‘I love you this much.’ Then He died.’ It’s just insane to think about. As soon as you can realize that Jesus hangs in EVERY church, and in every heart, to realize and feel that love is life-altering.”
– Anthony, 18
“It has been so beautiful to see the Holy Spirit gently opening all of their hearts over the weekend and bringing everyone closer to Him, becoming friends so quickly with the ‘strangers’ we started the trip with, and leaving with a burning love for Jesus.”
– Amanda, chaperone
“This is ironic because I’m a runner, but it was like God was saying ‘Run with me,’ and that no matter where I am, where I am going, or where I am running, God will be right there with me.”
– Nate, 18
