Parishes will comply with diocesan requirements to suspend public Masses and gatherings.

As of April 7

  • In a statement from Bishop Kettler on April 7, 2020, the suspension of weekday and weekend Masses has been extended through Friday, May 15, 2020.  Church buildings and offices will stay closed to the public during this time.  Bishop Kettler asks that no gatherings of 10 or more people happen in our churches.

  • TAO ACC has already delayed Fist Communions to the Fall.  The diocese has postponed all May Confirmations, therefore our May 6 Confirmation Celebration will be rescheduled.

As of March 26

  • The Saturday Community Meal that was scheduled to be held at St. Paul's on 3/29/2020 will prepare the meal in the form of bag lunches, and have a method for distributing them that will allow for social distancing.

  • Faith formation sessions will not be held in person for the remainder of the school year.  Watch for distance learning options.  Families can arrange to pick up their textbooks from St. Peter's by contacting Lisa.

  • The parish office at St. Paul's will be closed to the public.  Messages will be checked regularly by staff.

  • Bulletins have been cut from 8 pages to 4 pages.  These will be available on Mondays at each parish site for pickup, and online for viewing.

  • First Communions will be delayed to the Fall.

  • Confirmation may be delayed.

As of March 24, regarding the Fish Fry Scheduled to be held at St. Joseph's:

I wanted to let you know of the decision that has been made to cancel the fish fry that was scheduled to take place this Friday, March 27th.  We considered doing another drive-thru only event but determined that the potential risk of spreading cold/flu/COVID-19 viruses outweighed the benefit of doing the fish-fry at this time.  We do intend to use the inventory of fish etc. that we do have in the freezers for another fish fry at a later date to be determined.

We will be informing all of the people that were scheduled to work at this event of this decision today.

It may be difficult to reach everybody that may have been planning on attending this event so please share this information with anybody that you think may have been planning to attend.

Thank you,

Brian and the "Fish Fry Committee"

As of March 17, and responding to the need to social distance, the following activities and meetings have been canceled:

- ACC Joint Pastoral Council Meeting scheduled for 3/17/20 at 6:30 pm
- All Gather Us In Sessions
- Communal Reconciliation Services scheduled at St. Peter's and St. Paul's on 3/24/20 and 3/28/20
- Community Meal and Faith Formation scheduled for 3/18/20 and 3/25/20
- St. Peter's choir practice is cancelled this week.
- Sunday School at St. Peter's is cancelled for the remainder of the year.
- Children's Liturgy of the Word at St. Michael's is indefinitely suspended.
Thank you for your patience. None of us know how the next days will unfold, but it is a great act of solidarity to reduce the risk of infection by following health recommendations.
